Reasons Why Women Are Crazy about Shoes

Ahh… shoes. Every time you mention that word the first thing that comes into a man's mind is women and if you mention shoes to women you'll hear them utter not one but several terms such as Prada, Jimmy Choos, Manolos, Christian Louboutin and so on and so forth. Women’s love for cheap fashion shoes is practically insane. In fact, there's one study conducted in the United States wherein women are willing to forego love making with their husband or boyfriend for a month in exchange of a closet full of shoes! And if you ask a woman how many pairs of shoes she have in her closet she'll give you an exact number right before she blinks her eye and if you ask her when the birthday of your president is, the response shall be like" uh, can I google it first?"

There are many different reasons why women love shoes and why 20 pairs of shoes will never be enough. Here are a few reasons to explain why.

1. Your Shoe size doesn't change
No matter how many pounds have you gained during the holidays, and you may sulk in the corner because you got 2 sizes bigger, your shoes will always fit you perfectly. Women don't have to change their shoes every time they lose or gain some weights as much as they have to in clothes. For women, it's a wonderful feeling that something actually fits into your life no matter how much change that you have undergone. Our feet don't grow that much compared to our bodies. It's the reason why vintage designer shoes are very popular and can fit almost everyone so long as you both have your shoe size. Bags and shoes are the same. You can wear them and they would still be the same even though you're pregnant, had shed a couple of pounds or gained several pounds.

2. It adds length
Unlike men who will be forever confined with their height as soon as they reach their maximum growth spurt, women on the other hand have the "gift" of being taller than their actual size by means of wearing high heeled shoes. Petite ladies can look taller when they have them on. It can give the illusion of mile long legs. You don’t have to feel as if you're small or tiny once you have them on.

3. It boosts confidence
Women who put on their high heeled shoes would say that they feel a surge of confidence and power while walking in them. They feel more superior and feel as if they can control the world.

4. Men love girls in heels
This is a common knowledge among men. Their heads will turn on you as soon as they hear you heading towards their direction. Men say it makes women look sexy and they love how heels emphasize a woman's leg more.

5. A form of self expression
Shoes are also a way of expressing a woman's personality without having to speak. A woman who likes to wear neutral colored shoes such as black, brown and nude is said to be more reserved, organized and has a classic sense of style while a woman who lives in vibrant shoe colors is said to be outgoing and lively.

There are loads of reasons why women love shoes. Men would never understand why females are fascinated about shoes as much as women would never get why men are drawn to sports.
